Abstract

José Raúl Carrillo Gutiérrez, M.Sc., is a surveying engineer and holds a Master of Science in Earth Sciences from the University of Colima. Throughout his academic and professional career, he has specialized in LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) data processing and three-dimensional modeling. His education has been further enriched by an academic exchange at the University of Salamanca, Spain, and a specialization in LiDAR data processing at the University of Oviedo.

Professionally, he has worked in areas such as construction project coordination, mining surveying, and three-dimensional surveys. He has also developed a distinguished teaching career as a professor at the University of Colima. In addition, he has participated as a speaker in various academic and professional forums, where he has shared his knowledge and experience in geospatial technologies, geomatics, and the digitalization of land and territory.
